A New Day, a New Way

Here we are at the beginning of a new year. 2008 to be precise. And new endeavors are afoot. And so begins the blog journey on a renewed website. Thanks to our son Andrew, we have a brand new interface for the Impart Ministries website, with easy update features for us and feedback available to you as we progress. This was Andrew's labor of love and Christmas gift to us. I had hit a logistics wall in the old format and was totally bogged down with update strategies. Some of you may have noted that our content was ofen not current. Not anymore. It is a classic example of God sending help to get me out of my boxed in condition. Psalm 124:7-8 applies here. "Our soul is escaped as a bird out of the snare of the fowlers: the snare is broken and we are escaped. Our help is in the name of the Lord, who made heaven and earth." (KJV) IT was a condition of my own creation, which at one time was functioning well enough, but when I wanted to go to another level the old format wouldn't sustain it. I needed a major shift in approaching the whole matter, but didn't know how to make it happen. That's when God sent help through the life of my son. Thank you Andrew for listening and responding to the Lord is this matter.

Perhaps you need a major shift in and aroung your life as well. Cry out unto the Lord and He will send you the help you need, often in the most unexpected ways, with solutions you didn't even know existed. And then there are the areas that we don't know what we need that will change our lives, making them more fruitful and blessed. In these areas, God is watching our for us, perfecting all things that pertain to life and godliness in Christ Jesus. He will make us aware of what we need so we can call on Him. I believe we can hasten this process by doing what the following scriptures declare: "Call unto me, and I will answer yhou, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know." Jeremiah 33:3 (modified KJV)

Have a blessed year during 2008!

Thankfulness

You turned my wailing into dancing;
you removed my sackcloth and clothed me with joy,
that my heart may sing to you and not be silent.
O LORD my God, I will give you thanks forever.
- Psalm 30:11-12
