Weaknesses: We all have them!

God sympathizes with our weakness, but He doesn't excuse it.
Rather He gives us help through the strength of His grace and mercy so we
can be strong in being who He created us to be.  Weakness therefore cannot
be our disclaimer in failing to be who He wants us to be.  Darryl Rodman

And the Holy Spirit helps us in our weakness.  For example,
we don't know what God wants us to pray for.  But the Holy Spirit prays
for us with groaning’s that cannot be expressed in words.  Romans

Paul told the Corinthians, I came to you in weakness--timid and
trembling (I Corthinians 2:3), but He came.  I want encourage each of us
lean into our Savior in every weak place.  Do not be ashamed of your
weaknesses, but seek His plan and His strength.  As most of you know, Paul
sought the Lord three times to take away "the thorn in his flesh", it
didn't happen.  However, the Lord spoke to Him some very encouraging
words.  "My grace is all you need.  My power works best in
weakness.  So now I am glad to boast about my weaknesses, so that the power
of Christ can work through me.  That's why I take pleasure in my weaknesses
and in the insults, hardships, persecutions, and troubles that I suffer for
Christ.  For when I am weak, then I am strong."  2 Corinthians

I know I have a ways to go to stop all my mumbling, grumbling
and whining about my weaknesses.  However, I am so thankful they don't
disqualify me from serving and loving Him.  I am so thankful that He
receives me with these weaknesses and becomes my strength when I acknowledge
them and seek His help.

He remembered us in our weakness.  His faithful love
endures forever.  Psalm 136:23

Pride keeps us from acknowledging our weaknesses at times, then
all we have is our own strength to lean on.  We can fake it through at
times, but not too long. (I think that is His mercy!)

Stand strong in the strength
and power of His might,
my friends.  You can do all He calls you to do
